Radiesse
Radiesse®
Most dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid (HA), but Radiesse® is made with calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA), which is firmer and provides strong support in areas like the nasolabial folds, chin, and jawline. Radiesse® not only adds volume immediately but also stimulates your body’s collagen production, so results continue to improve over time.
Radiesse® is also FDA-approved for hand rejuvenation. The CaHA acts as a scaffold to support skin structure and promote new collagen. Effects are visible right away and can last 9–15 months.
Additionally, Radiesse® can be used for neck rejuvenation. Treatment plans vary, but typically one syringe per session is recommended, with two treatments spaced about a month apart. Your provider will determine the best approach for your goals.
What can I expect?
Radiesse® treatments are quick and typically take about 45–60 minutes, depending on the area being treated. One of the biggest advantages is that it requires virtually no downtime—you can have treatment in the morning or afternoon and return to work the same day, resuming normal exercise the following day. Most clients experience mild, temporary side effects such as bruising, swelling, redness, itchiness, or discomfort at the injection site. Results are visible immediately, and continued collagen stimulation can improve results over time. Depending on the treatment area and amount used, Radiesse® can last between 12–14 months.
