The My Fair Lady Project is a partnership between CFR and the Family Violence Shelter to provide services to women who have faced adversity
Chattanooga, TN – March 3, 2017
Center for Facial Rejuvenation is proud to announce another successful recipient of the My Fair Lady Project. The My Fair Lady Project is a program sponsored by CFR that provides a special day of support for women who have faced great adversity.
This year’s recipient, Mariana, was nominated by the Family Violence Shelter. On the big day, Mariana was assisted by the My Fair Lady Project’s “change agents,” various local professionals who gave their time and services to help Mariana. Mariana received a facial, hair styling, and specially picked clothes to help her with job hunting. She was also given a life coaching session, financial advise on how to build credit, and a session with a home ownership expert.
The My Fair Lady Program was founded by CFR’s Medical Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, Cindy A. Wilson. Cindy was inspired by women who faced adversity in their life and hardship with grit and grace. Wilson outlined her reasons for starting the program: “I strongly believe that a woman’s self-worth is linked to her self-perception. Our desire is to give women who have faced overwhelming odds in their life opportunities to feel beautiful and empowered, so they might see themselves in a new light.”
